Belmont Shore just got a little more stylish—and a lot more sustainable thanks to Twice Threaded. Joining 2nd Street, the appropriately named high-end secondhand store that opened on 2nd Street in 2023, Twice Threaded—a new subsidiary of USAgain, one of the nation’s leader in used clothing—will opt to use Long Beach as its flagship location.
As first reported by Jo Murray, this concept is reimagining vintage and secondhand fashion. How? By truly revolving its entire stock of clothing at given, guaranteed periods.

Twice Threaded’s wild approach to keeping inventory fresh and keeping it community-centric and sustainable.
The shop is built on a simple but powerful idea: pre-loved garments deserve a second life. Each rack is a blend of vintage finds and contemporary pieces, curated to make a statement without compromising the planet. Think of it as a style loop—you buy, you wear, you trade back in, and the cycle continues. It’s not just a store; it’s a community that puts sustainability and creativity at the center of fashion. And there’s even a give-back built in: for every $100 spent, Twice Threaded plants a tree.
The format is as inventive as the mission. Collections rotate every six weeks, with new arrivals hitting the floor daily, and each cycle closing in a crescendo of markdowns—20, 30, 40 percent off before hitting buy-one-get-one blowouts. Add in a buy-sell-trade program to keep closets circulating and a seamless self-checkout system, and you’ve got a space that makes conscious shopping feel exciting, effortless, and very Belmont Shore.
According to Murray, Lucy Majera, Twice Threaded’s spokesperson, said they are finishing up the store’s decor, which will feature graffiti art and that they plan on opening a second location in March, followed by a new store every six months.
Twice Threaded will be located at 5015 E. 2nd St.
