West Coast Taco & Beer Festival—one of the largest in the country—is coming to Long Beach with unlimited beer tastings

Share

One of the country’s largest taco and beer fests, the San Diego-based West Coast Taco & Beer Festival, will be making its debut in Long Beach (as well as taking over the Stramler Park in Bakersfield).

Set to take over the Rainbow Lagoon Park come Aug. 26, general admission and VIP ticket holders will get unlimited beer tastings and access to taco vendors from around the state and country. The bonus for getting a VIP ticket? You’ll get in an hours early—2PM instead of 3PM—in order to enjoy the festival with limited capacity for an hour, as well as three free taco tastings.

Joining the fun? Lucha libre battles, live music, and more.

The San Diego event draws thousands of festival goers each year—now on its fourth—when it invades the Broadway Pier under the skyline. And given the event’s connect to San Diego, arguably the country’s largest concentration of craft and independent breweries, the list of beer offerings never tends to be anything less than stellar (which explains the presence of Long Beach staples Beachwood and Trademark).

The West Coast Taco & Beer Festival will take place at Rainbow Lagoon Park in Long Beach on Saturday, Aug. 26, from 3PM to 8PM (except those with VIP tickets who can access the event at 2PM). For more information, click here.
