Since rebranding as Dolores (from its former longtime name, The Social List), 4th Street’s home-away-from-home kitchen has become even more embedded in Alamitos Beach’s culture, aura, and ethos.

Good Luck Vinyl Club has expanded beyond monthly listening sessions and into cumbia nights, daytime vinyl markets, and collaborations with other spaces. And owners Brenda Riviera and Chef Luis Navarro have continued to create food and drinks that appeal to the crowds while also maintaining their new, more elevated identity.
This year’s Halloween menu—an annual tradition at the space—is no exception. While showing classic Halloween films every Thursday throughout October, patrons are invited to explore their extensive spooky cocktail menu and limited food offerings.

What to expect from Dolores for Halloween 2026…
Dolores is the perfect blend of comfort food and great hospitality. We’re talking pasta. Burgers. Flatbreads. Well-made cocktails. And that doesn’t change with the Halloween offerings—just with an added touch of fun (like a burger that dons a cyclops costume made of olives and cheese) and (like a house charcoal-herb compound butter candle you light, then soften to spread on a warm sourdough boule).
There’s a genuinely stellar chicken sandwich, dusted with a hint of ghost pepper and honey—an item that should be on their regular menu. Speaking of additions to the regular menu, another Halloween dish that shouldn’t be sequestered to the holiday is the Black Lagoon pasta. Squid ink spaghetti is coated in a white wine and chile flake sauce, littleneck clams surrounding its edge. Umami, salty, and acidic thanks to a hefty dose of lemon and honestly offers
And honestly? If you want something super comforting, go for the housemade chili with jalapeño corn bread.
