Sorry Not Sorry Creamery moving into former Sweetfin space in Long Beach

Share

Sorry Not Sorry Creamery—the ice cream brand famous for using dairy from a century-old farm—will be taking over the former Sweetfin space in Belmont Shore. After closing back in May, the space has been toured by far more local brands. (With Foodologie being one of them but unfortunately was rejected.) Ultimately, the sought-after space went to this quickly expanding ice cream chain.

The move into the Shore marks Long Beach’s own expanding ice cream accessibility. You have your local staples like Long Beach Creamery, Galata, and Seaside Creamery. And then we have massive brands like Van Leeuwan and Handel’s. In other words: Long Beach’s ice cream game has never been stronger.

So what is Sorry Not Sorry Creamery?

Sorry Not Sorry Creamery is a boutique ice cream brand known for responsibly sourced, small-batch dessert work. Their base is made with dairy from Scott Brothers Dairy—a century-old, family-owned farm whose cows are grass-fed, hormone-free, and free to roam across hundreds of acres, creating a low-stress environment that the creamery says leads to superior milk. They also bake and cook many of their mix-ins—cookies, brownies, caramels, swirls—in-house to maintain freshness and control over flavor quality.

What to expect when it comes to the Shore…

In practice, fans of the creamery praise both its bold flavors and its attention to detail. One user on Reddit wrote that their “ice cream flight” experience was among the best they’d had, highlighting how mix-ins are generous without overwhelming the base. The brand also profiles itself on social media as hand-crafted in small batches with vegan-friendly options included.

Sorry Not Sorry Creamery maintains a core menu of 16 classic flavors—Bumbleberry Cheesecake Crumble, Campfire S’mores, Cookie Butter Swirl, Honey Lavender, Mint Chocolate Chunk, Ube Honeycomb are just a few—along with four rotating seasonal offerings.  Their Instagram also notes that their Fall Series ‘25 is scheduled to drop on Sept. 12, featuring flavors like Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll, Maple Walnut Cookie, and Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake.

Sorry Not Sorry Creamery will be located at 4612 E. 2nd St.
