Happy hour power move: Baby Gee Bar goes happy hour seven days a week

Share

Baby Gee Bar—already known for its continually revolving cocktail menus and award-winning spirit—is making an unapologetically bold move: a brand-new happy hour that’s running harder and longer than most bars in town. First two hours of opening. Last two hours of closing. Seven days a week.

That means Monday through Friday from 5 to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday from 2PM to 4PM, and a late-night happy hour that stretches Sunday through Wednesday from 10PM to close and Thursday through Saturday from midnight to close.

Highballs, shots, and more: Baby Gee’s new happy hour extravaganza is simply great

The crown jewel of this new rollout is an all-new highball menu—fun, stripped-down cocktails at a more approachable price point but still carrying the creativity and flavor that Baby Gee is built on. Alongside it, guests can dive into an all-new Shot & a Beer menu, promising wild pairings designed to “tickle your senses and wet your whistle.”

But the highballs are where it’s at—and don’t think just a spirit and soda water. This is Baby Gee. You have Japanese gin and sparkling coconut. Or vodka and guava cream soda. Rum, amaro, and black cherry soda. Whiskey, alpine hay and ginger beer. Tequila and sparkling cucumber Even the brilliant combination of absinthe and root beer.

Classics still in play for Baby Gee’s happy hour

This expansion isn’t replacing Baby Gee’s existing happy hour—it’s stacking onto it. That means you’ll still find:

  • Half-price bottles of wine
  • $10 cocktail of the day
  • $4 hot dogs and $5 vegan dogs

A statement move

It’s not subtle—and that’s the point, which I personally appreciate. This happy hour overhaul is Baby Gee’s big, aggressive swing to cement itself as one of the city’s go-to destinations for after-work sips, weekend day drinking, and late-night hangs—on top of having some of the finest cocktails around.

Baby Gee Bar is located at 1227 E. 4th St.
